A client in Everett, WA, sought Hello Garage of Seattle's expertise to rejuvenate their garage space. The primary challenge was to finish and protect the floors, provide better shelving for the existing items stored in the garage, and install a shoe rack within custom cabinets. The client's goal was to enhance the garage's functionality and organization while maintaining an appealing aesthetic.

Solution

Hello Garage of Seattle addressed the client's needs through a comprehensive approach. Firstly, we installed our durable SparTek™ polyaspartic floor coating in Peppercorn, offering a gorgeous finish that is both aesthetically pleasing and highly durable, far surpassing traditional epoxy floors. This not only provided a beautiful look but also ensured a long-lasting, damage-resistant surface.

To tackle the storage issues, we installed two custom cabinets featuring heavy-duty, commercial-grade steel frames and melamine-protected solid wood doors. These cabinets provided ample storage space, with swing-out doors for easy access and soft-close hinges for added convenience. The inclusion of extra shelves to serve as shoe racks within the cabinets kept footwear organized and accessible.

Additionally, we installed two sets of heavy-duty garage shelving. These shelves, made from industrial-strength welded steel and powder-coated for rust resistance, were customized to fit the client’s space and storage needs. Each shelf can hold up to 300 lbs. of evenly distributed weight, ensuring robust support for all stored items.
